About the project
IT Meetup #1 at the Engineering and Technical Institute focused on “Data Science in Transnistria: Past, Present and Future.” The website needed to introduce the event, present its program and speakers, then provide a route to registration. It is now an archived portfolio work, preserved through screenshots and source code.
The meeting format shaped the page. Visitors needed to know which subjects would be discussed and who would present them. A single-page landing website brought together the event introduction, thematic blocks and registration, allowing someone to discover the program through one continuous reading experience rather than an extensive information portal.
Read articleTask
The task was to explain the event through a clear structure. The program included the history of the local data analysis school, machine translation, neural networks, their use in medicine, Big Data, and academic and business analysis problems. Those subjects needed to connect with the meeting's overall theme and speakers.
Solution
The work involved developing and adapting a landing page based on the Start Bootstrap Agency single-page template. The existing foundation was customized for the event's content and presentation. The base template design belongs to Start Bootstrap; the project contribution was its application and adaptation to this particular meeting.
Result
The result was a responsive event website with a program, speakers and registration. The project is preserved as an archived case, with a public repository complementing the real screenshots. The former domain is not used as an active registration channel. The case represents event landing page development and customization with clear attribution to its template foundation.
